               The Dai Hong Dan Incident of 2007 By Aria & Juno In 2007, a North Korean cargo ship called the MV Dai Hong Dan was attacked by Somali pirates? The pirates boarded the ship and took the crew hostage. The crew fought back, and the next day, they were able to retake the ship with the help of a U.S. Navy vessel. The Dai Hong Dan incident was a rather crazy event! The pirates were armed with AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenades and lots of other armaments, and the were viewed the general public to be rather scary and threatening. But the crew of the Dai Hong Dan was quite reckless but they to try their best to be brave, and they fought back, and they were able to retake the ship.
